About Me
Meet Your Certified Relationship Coach - Julie
I want to feel like I have made a real difference in people’s lives. When my mom passed away, I learned that life is short and if you want to make a difference – you have to go for it.
After years of chaotic relationships, emotional rollercoasters, and taking a break from dating, I found a partner who loved me for who I was. Despite initial resistance, I found myself about to marry my best friend.
Before tying the knot, we embarked on a pre-marital course. It opened our eyes to the crucial aspects of life that people often overlook.
After 22 years of marriage, 2 kids and 5 dogs, I went back to school, became a trained Relationship Coach, and birthed Living in Love Coaching.

Reconnecting As a Couple
S and J had been married for six years when they began feeling disconnected. Miscommunication and a lack of appreciation had crept into their daily lives, leaving both partners feeling unheard and unvalued.
The Process
S and J were star clients because they fully embraced the tools and strategies we worked on together. Starting with weekly sessions, we addressed their communication gaps, built new habits of acknowledgment and appreciation, and focused on rebuilding emotional intimacy. Gradually, we moved to bi-weekly, then three-week, and finally monthly sessions as they gained confidence and independence.
The Results
S and J completely transformed their relationship. By implementing the tools provided, they learned to communicate with clarity, express gratitude regularly, and prioritize one another in meaningful ways. They not only improved their connection but also gained the skills to maintain their progress long-term. They “graduated” from sessions, no longer needing my guidance, and now enjoy a strong, thriving marriage built on respect, love, and understanding.
Key Takeaway
S and J’s success is a testament to what can happen when both partners commit to doing the work and apply what they learn.
Building a Marriage After 30+ Years Together
In their sixties and married for over 30 years, D and H had faced significant trauma in their relationship. While each partner was working with individual therapists to process their personal experiences, they came to me to focus on creating shared goals for their relationship moving forward.
The Process:
D and H were committed to building something new while honoring their long history together. The journey was not easy—healing and rebuilding a foundation after decades of challenges takes time and patience. We worked on small, manageable steps to help them reconnect emotionally, rebuild trust, and establish a vision for the future of their marriage.
The Results:
Over time, D and H created a “new marriage,” one filled with renewed understanding, care, and purpose. They learned to communicate with compassion, acknowledge each other’s pain, and focus on the years ahead rather than the struggles of the past. Their willingness to stay committed to the process has allowed them to enter this new phase of life together with hope and connection.
Key Takeaway:
Even after decades of marriage, transformation is possible. D and H’s journey shows that with commitment, patience, and small steps, couples can heal and create a relationship that works for the future.
Going From Surviving to Thriving in a Busy Life
S and G were a highly successful couple in their late 40s, juggling demanding careers and raising three children involved in multiple sports and activities. Their lives were consumed with work, family logistics, and to-do lists, leaving no time to prioritize their relationship. The breaking point came when the wife accused her husband of having an affair. Though there was no infidelity, it was a wake-up call for both of them: they had grown distant, emotionally and physically.
The Process:
In our sessions, we worked on rebuilding emotional intimacy and rediscovering their connection. S and G learned to prioritize their relationship, even in the chaos of their busy lives. We implemented tools to improve communication, schedule intentional time together, and nurture their bond. As their emotional connection grew, the physical intimacy followed naturally.
The Results:
S and G transformed their marriage from one of survival to one that thrives. They now communicate effectively, share quality time as a couple, and feel connected emotionally and physically. Their relationship has become a source of strength and joy, despite the busyness of life.
Key Takeaway:
S and G’s story highlights the importance of prioritizing the relationship. No matter how demanding life becomes, a thriving marriage is possible when couples are willing to reconnect and commit to meaningful change.
